April 24 – Session votes unanimously to seek dismissal to ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.

May 24 – Congregational Information Meeting with Dr. Jim Singleton, President of the Fellowship of Presbyterians.

June 12 – Congregational Information Meeting with the Presbytery Response Team (PRT)

June 14 – Letter to the Congregation from Dr. Jenkins June 19 – Voting Instructions via Church Mailing

June 24 –  Congregational Meeting and Vote at 10:00 AM to seek dismissal from the PCUSA and join ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.  RESULTS of VOTE: ** We had 554 active members in attendance for the 10:00 am meeting. 502 voted in support of the motion (that is 90.6% of those present) and 52 voted to oppose.**

August 9 – Presbytery Response Team (PRT) met on Thursday August 9, 2012, at 7 PM at the Presbyterian Home Chapel with members of the congregation who wish to remain within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). September 24 – Church Mailing

September 30 – Congregational Informational Meeting to discuss the Terms of Dismissal.

October 4 – Congregational Informational Meeting to discuss the Terms of Dismissal.

October 4 – Letter to Congregation from Mike Lavespere, Clerk of Session

October 14- Congregational Meeting to vote on Terms of Dismissal at 10:00 AM

December 6 – Presbytery of New Harmony Called Meeting to vote on whether to accept the terms of dismissal approved by our congregation on October 14, 2012 and to dismiss First Presbyterian Church from PC (USA) to ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, Presbytery of the East. RESULTS of VOTE: Terms of Dismissal were accepted. Dismissal will be effective January 1, 2013.
