- Spiritual Mothering: Women's Study This book by Susan Hunt challenges women to put the teaching of Titus 2 into action. It uses both biblical and modern day examples to illustrate the principle of older women "caring for" younger women in the church. It is critical that one generation takes seriously the call of our Lord to pass the faith onto the next. The Lord is helping us catch a vision for this in our congregation. The book will be available for you as you sign up.
- Freedom from Finances: A few good men will gather and continue to talk about the issues related to being a disciple of Christ in the area of finances. Money and the bottom line confront us daily. this being so, it is critical for us to move toward a life where Jesus takes precedent over all financial concerns. Matt Goodstein, trained by Crown Ministry, will help organize the discussions.
- Taking it the to the Streets: The deacons invite you to help them care for those in our congregation and those who are visiting our church during this six week session. After dinner each night, we will be organizing teams and moving into our community to reach out and care for some of our elderly members and our sick folk, welcoming those who have been visiting and finally trying to reconnect with some folks we haven't seen in a while. Take this unique opportunity to care.
- Dr. Jenkins will also be teaching a class this fall. Topic TBA in September.
