Describer your primary responsibilities at First Presbyterian: My job is to oversee the daily operation of the First Presbyterian Child Development Center. I interact daily with children, staff, and parents.

What is your favorite thing to do in Florence? My husband, Jim and I relocated to Florence in 2014. We enjoy the small community feeling that Florence offers and the big support of the Arts. We especially enjoy the Florence Little Theatre and the Florence Symphony Orchestra.

Tell us about your family: Jim and I have been married for 40 years and are the parents of three wonderful grown children, and five fabulous grandchildren.

Tell us about your hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy creative writing, dabbling in art, antiquing, listening to all kinds of music, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.

How do you see God moving at First? Being a part of the new Child Development Center at First Presbyterian has been such a wonderful journey for me. I have felt from the very beginning that God was doing something new and exciting here. It is a joy to serve where people care about the well-being and the development of young children. I stand amazed at all that God has done and is doing to provide such an welcoming place to minister to young children and their families.
