Between Palm Sunday and Easter, we observe Holy Week with a special solemnity as a time of devotion to the Passion of Jesus Christ. Please join us throughout the week for our services and events.
Palm Sunday
- During the 11 a.m. Traditional Worship Service on April 13, Baystreet Brassworks will be assisting in worship. Children are invited to join the Palm Sunday Processional. Children should meet Ms. Kaiti at 10:50 a.m. in the Narthex. Families attending the 9 a.m. service are welcome to stay for the procession and leave after if needed.
- Egg Hunt: From 4 to 5 p.m. all are welcome to come to the Whitehead’s Farm, 175 W. Pocket Rd. Toddlers through fifth-graders will be on the hunt for eggs that the sixth-graders hid ahead of time. Bring your family and Easter baskets.
Maundy Thursday
- At 7 p.m. April 17 we will have a worship service with Communion, where we remember Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. At the Last Supper, Jesus commanded that people should love one another. He then washed the feet of his disciples as an example of service and an act of kindness.
Easter Sunday
- Everyone is invited on Easter Sunday to “Flower the Cross.” Feel free to bring flowers from your yards to beautify the Cross in celebration of the Resurrection. Services will be at 9 and 11 a.m. Baystreet Brassworks will assist in worship during the 11 a.m. Traditional Service.
