Join us to commemorate Reformation Sunday at 10 a.m. October 25 with worship and a church lunch following.
The last Sunday in October marks the occasion in 1517 when Martin Luther posted his 95 theses in Germany. It started a movement that changed Christianity.
On October 25, we also celebrate Scottish heritage with Kirkin’ O’ the Tartans. It is our intention that we encourage all participants to reflect with thanksgiving on their own family and ethnic heritage, and to celebrate God’s grace poured out for all generations.
Tartan donors and families who would like to process are to pick up their tartans at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall for the 10 a.m. service. Please join us afterward for our church lunch. The church will provide the meal. If you’re able, please bring a dessert to share. Drop off desserts in the CLC kitchen ahead of the worship service.
Tartans
If you would like to process with a tartan but aren’t officially matched, you’re welcome to use an unclaimed one that will be available at 9:50 a.m. If you would like to be paired officially with a retired tartan, please see Dr. Weave Whitehead following the church lunch Sunday morning.
